With decades of experience in both retail and institutional trading, as a long-time chartered market technician, she brings a deep understanding of how markets work—and how traders can capitalize on them. Martha Stokes is a retired Buy-Side Professional. She took an early retirement after her financial success. However, she discovered that retirement lacked something. Her trading and business partner, Howard Johnson, urged her to do a workshop for the many people who kept asking for help learning about the stock market.

Martha agreed to teach a 2-day workshop after Howard persisted. Martha was sure that everyone would already know what she was about to teach.
To her surprise, 20 minutes into the workshop, she looked at all the keenly fascinated faces of the crowded room and said, “You don’t know this stuff, do you?” And everyone in the room shook their heads. It was at that moment that Martha realized that teaching about the stock market as she knew it would give her a purpose in her retirement.
